Delta Air Lines' 100th year takes flight

TechOps returns to historic hangars to support Delta Flight Museum renovation

One of the many attributes that makes the Delta Flight Museum so special is the TechOps experts on site who are the first call when the museum needs things expertly taken care of and repaired.

“The TechOps team’s ingenuity, creativity and reliability is a huge part of what has made this museum renovation possible,” said Nina Thomas, Director of Exhibits & Public Programs at the Delta Flight Museum. “TechOps made sure the renovation was done safely and correctly. Without TechOps, there would be no Delta Flight Museum.”

Delta Flight Museum soars into its centennial with new art, experiences and an interactive mural

The new feature is an interactive mural designed by artist and SCAD MFA student Jennifer Wee, who won a call for submissions from Delta in collaboration with the SCADPro initiative. Her new mural visualizes Delta’s theme, “Humanity Lifts Us,” and it’s on view now in the Spirit Hanger at the Delta Flight Museum.

“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes was joined by Wee and Nina Thomas, the Delta Flight Museum director of exhibits and public programs, to discuss this newly reopened and remodeled museum.
