Last night, we found out that the 2019-2020 National History Day them is Breaking Barriers in History. We love the theme and it reminded us that we never posted about the completed installation of our newest temporary exhibition at the Delta Flight Museum "Half the Sky: Stories About Women in Aviation." This exhibition explores the struggles and triumphs of women succeeding in entering all aspects of the aviation industry.
You could say this is our National History Day entry, but unfortunately we don't get to enter our exhibition into the competition. You can come see it, though, since it will be on view through December 2019. We look forward to seeing the student projects on this theme.
