Here at the museum it's often Delta, Delta, Delta (insert your best Jan Brady impression), but we love to support Delta's joint venture partnerships too. Recently, Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, visited the museum to speak with Delta CEO Ed Bastian and Delta employees about the bond between the two companies. 

"Delta is the best big airline in the world," Sir Richard said. "We've learned so many things from each other. We think of it as one seamless company and we help each other whenever possible."

Just as the partnership between Delta and Virgin Atlantic continues to grow so does the number of Virgin items within our Archives collection! From hot air balloons to uniform insignia, here's a small taste of what we have!

This Virgin Atlantic bobblehead of Sir Richard Branson and a cabin attendant with Boeing 747-400 model airplane at their feet is a recent addition to the collection. Just like in real life, the bobblehead version of Sir Richard is all smiles, all the time!

This Virgin Atlantic Cabin Crew Uniform Wings patch shows off some of the classic style for which they're known.

This Virgin Atlantic, Boeing 787 model airplane features the Birthday Girl special version of Virgin Atlantic's flying lady nose art developed for the airline's first Boeing 787 and the airline's 30th anniversary.

What a great partnership! We can't wait to collect more items from Virgin Atlantic and Delta's other Joint Venture partners, including Aeromexico, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air, Virgin Australia and WestJet!
