Welcome to the Delta Flight Museum blog “From the Hangars”.


We are excited to be able to share with you the progress that is being made as we renovate the facility and tell the story of Delta and the people that have made it great. As we see progress in the construction work we will include photos so that you can follow along.

Currently, we plan to open the renovated facility in late spring or very early summer next year. So, plan to include a visit to the Museum in your 2014 adventures.

    I would love to monetarily support the Delta Museum, in honor of Mr. Woolman.  Unfortunately, I cannot afford to do so.

    You see, I am a retired Delta Pilot, who safely flew Delta Passengers throughout the world for 26 years.  Unfortunately, Delta Air Lines and its management team of the early 2000's ran the company into bankruptcy and abandoned the pension that was promised to me and other Delta Pilot Retirees.  I doubt Mr. Woolman would have approved.

    So, I regret that I am in no financial position to support this museum.

    How come when making a logo selection on the brick the new Delta logo is not available? I would think with all our mergers our present and future are as important as our past. Blue sky's, Captain Claude Nardy 747
