On December 18, the Delta Flight Museum unveiled a new exhibit showcasing the Distinctly Delta uniform collection—Delta Air Lines’ next-generation employee wardrobe, set to be wear-tested in 2026 and rolled out more broadly in 2027.

Designed in partnership with Lands’ End, the collection reflects extensive input from Delta’s frontline teams and balances style, function, and performance. The uniforms feature durable, flexible fabrics; practical details designed for real work environments; and a modern color palette rooted in Delta’s brand, including Navigator Navy, Boarding Burgundy, and Runway Red. Several designs also nod to Delta’s past, including a contemporary take on the classic wrap dress.

Housed at the Delta Flight Museum, the exhibit places these future uniforms in direct conversation with the airline’s history. Visitors can see how Delta’s brand, culture, and commitment to employee experience continue to evolve—linking a century of aviation heritage with the airline’s next chapter.

Gail Grimmett, President and CEO of the Delta Flight Museum, spoke at the exhibit unveiling about what makes housing this collection in the museum so special.
"Our ability to bring our present and mix it in with our past hopefully inspires everybody to think about the next generation. This is more than just an artifact of clothing. We tell this story throughout the museum. When our customers see us in uniform, it shows professionalism. They feel safe. They feel cared for. They feel welcomed."
"Almost every great moment in our history is employee-led. These uniforms, which have been designed by our employee groups, continue to add to the story that we are a company built by people," Grimmett said.

Ranjan Goswami, S.V.P. of Customer Experience Design, also spoke at the unveiling about the process of creating an employee-lead uniform collection.
"We missed the mark the first time. We had to own missing the mark. So many people were part of helping us get back on track. I think that's what makes this place special. It's not about getting it perfect always, the first time. It's about making sure we continue to listen to one another and come to the right result. And I think we did that," Goswami said.
By collecting and interpreting the uniforms employees will soon wear around the world, the Delta Flight Museum reinforces its role as a place where Delta’s past, present, and future come together—told through the people who bring the airline to life every day.

The collection will be on exhibit through 2026.
