February 24, 2006 Ship 102 to make Boston stop Employees and retirees greeted The Spirit of Delta on February 24 in Boston on its Farewell Tour before retirement. The aircraft conducted a circle flight at Boston-Logan with employees, customers and volunteers from the American Red Cross. Mary Ann Ryan, a Delta retiree who worked in Boston, said that she has fond memories of Ship 102. "We were indeed privileged to have had such a wonderful opportunity to make a contribution to a great company where we were all family," she said.
